Heating Instructions

Eisenberg® franks and sausages are easy to heat up and even easier to serve.

Boiling

  • Fill a pot with enough water to cover the hot dogs.
  • Bring the water to a boil, then add the hot dogs.
  • Reduce heat and simmer for 4-6 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  • For a crispier texture, you can pan-fry them after boiling.

Baking

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F.
  • Place the hot dogs on a baking sheet or in a roasting pan.
  • Bake for about 15 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165°F.

Microwaving

  • Place the hot dog on a heatproof plate lined with a paper towel.
  • Microwave on high for 45 seconds to 1 minute.
  • Check for even heating, and microwave in 30-second intervals if needed until internal
  • temperature reaches 165°F.
  • Be cautious of steam when removing from the microwave.

Grilling

  • Preheat the grill to medium heat.
  • Place the hot dogs on the grill and cook, turning occasionally, until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
