Our history
In 1967, Marvin Eisenberg bought Kelly Corned Beef—a small storefront in Chicago. With a vision of bold flavor, he set out to create premium corned beef for restaurants and delis across the Midwest. By the early ‘90s, Marvin’s sons, Cliff and Howard, saw an opportunity to do something different in the hot dog world. At a time when big companies were taking over and quality was slipping, the Eisenberg brothers introduced a better frank—an all-beef hot dog with no fillers, no corn syrup and no shortcuts.
Their goal? Craft a gourmet hot dog with rich, real flavor that everyone could enjoy—from coast to coast. With a perfectly balanced blend of garlic, paprika and savory beef, Eisenberg franks raised the bar on what a hot dog could be.
In 2017, Eisenberg proudly became part of the Home Market Foods family—ensuring that our commitment to quality, tradition and unbeatable flavor continues for generations to come.
